Bridgepoint Chiropractic Clinic:

Bridgepoint Chiropractic was established in 2006 by Dr. Garner to help meet the growing need for Chiropractic services in the Greater Fort Erie area. Since opening, we have had the pleasure of meeting, treating and creating positive, lasting relationships with the residents and businesses of Fort Erie.

Our clinic offers cutting-edge equipment built to optimize your health. Our state of the art therapeutic modalities include electro-therapy, low-level laser, ultrasound, pulsed electromagnetic fields and percussion massage.

Our rehab room is equipped with a universal gym, cardio equipment, free-weights and ample floor space for stretching. Bridgepoint Chiropractic is a member of the Sports Centres network of clinics, which provides members of the Ontario Soccer Association and other athletes with high quality sports injury care.

Our clinic is also affiliated with the following organizations:

Dr. Garner was born and raised in the Niagara Region, spending his childhood in Welland and teenage years in Port Colborne. From a very young age, he received Chiropractic care and developed a curiosity for health and the human body.

While attending Port Colborne High School, Dr. Garner kept busy by playing football, basketball, track & field and playing bass guitar in a local high school rock band. He graduated as an Ontario Scholar and received the Gyro award for excellence in academics and athletics. He pursued his love of football at McMaster University, playing defensive back for the Marauders while completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology.

Upon being accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2002, Dr. Garner spent 4 years studying and living in Toronto, graduating Cum Laude with Clinic Honours in 2006. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Fort Erie, got married and opened Bridgepoint Chiropractic.

Dr. Garner and his wife were blessed with their first son, Madden, in December of 2007. Their second son, Bennett, arrived in May of 2010. Dr. Garner currently enjoys a hectic life of family, work, fitness and music.

Chiropractic Services

Dr. Garner's Chiropractic technique of choice is referred to as Diversified. This technique is the traditional "hands-on" form of treatment that involves adjusting the joints of the spine and extremities. If you prefer not to be adjusted, or Dr. Garner determines that adjustments are not recommended for you, you may receive soft tissue therapy (a form of massage) or mobilizations. Mobilizations are gentle movements similar to an adjustment, but with less force and depth. The motion is repeated several times in a rhythmic pattern to produce a effect equal to that of an adjustment.

Many people believe that once Chiropractic care is started, it must be continued for life. This is the oldest and most untrue myth abouth Chiropractic. If your Chiropractor suggests an extended course of frequent visits with no valid reason, you may wish to seek a second opinion.

As most muscle or joint problems in the body develop over time, it can take just as long to correct them. Your treatment schedule may start out with several visits in the first week or two, but the
frequency of treatments will decrease as your condition improves. Similar to a course of antibiotic medication, your Chiropractic treatment is correcting the source of the problem. Even after the symptoms disappear, it is important to finish your course of treatment to ensure the cause of your complaint has been eliminated.

Most patients require no further treatment once fully recovered, but choose to continue with periodic maintenance care. These visits help to ensure their bodies are functioning optimally. Similar to a dental check-up, regular Chiropractic visits can help monitor and prevent problems before they become serious.
