  • Coordinate product sample and deliverables to multiline sales representatives.
  • Potential to visit with current and prospective customers and attend industry trade shows.

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to start a new position in Fort Erie ASAP!

We’re searching for a skilled industrial painter for our client. In this role, it will be your job to paint industrial parts for our client. You will need to assess the object that’s going to be painted and determine the best way to go about completing the job. You should be capable of working with many different painting tools, including airbrushes, rollers, and both thin and thick brushes. Additionally, you should be able to remove old layers of paint from different types of surfaces without damaging them.

Industrial Painter Responsibilities:

  • Hang parts, load tables/baskets, grind
  • Mix paint/material uniformly
  • Properly mask parts and prepare metal and equipment
  • Understand blueprints and specifications
  • Record appropriate information (cleaning times, load, part numbers, temperatures, humidity levels, sample, thickness, solution checks, viscosity and reaction times; complete paint cards; keep flow charts up-to-date)
  • Ensure parts and materials are properly identified with GR numbers and material type
  • Check for water break-free; visually check for proper finish; repair/touch up surfaces
  • Ensure that finishes conform to drawings and specifications
  • Ensure containers properly identified with GR numbers and expiration dates; verify shelf life
  • Test paint thickness and gloss requirements with gauges and/or meters; check thickness with weight test;
  • Apply paint, solutions to proper mil specifications; make adjustments in pressure, velocity and spray
  • Buff, clean, strip parts; sand, putty, alodine; stencil
  • Bake parts in oven and ensure dry times
  • Operate overhead crane

Industrial Painter Requirements:
  • 2 years Industrial Painting experience
  • Completion of high school
  • Specialized knowledge of industrial painting techniques and tools

  • Ability to work well in both team settings and with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Services provided by this Position

 
     
1.  Assist warehouse manager in duties that may include; loading and unloading trucks, sorting boxes identified by the client for Inspection.

2.  Providing a friendly atmosphere for any delivery or pick up drivers arriving at the warehouse, ensuring that there are carts and pallets available

3.  WE are not Permitted to question the authority of the CBSA

4.  Process payment of the offload

5.  Keeping the warehouse clean, and properly maintained

6.  Other duties as may be assigned

 

Performance Expectations


 

  1. Actively support, implement and maintain EPC’s Vision, Mission and values, and our minimum Customer Service Standards.
  2. Care and control of Customer products.
  3. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
  4. Operate and drive Forklift to load and unload various products crossing Canadian Boarders.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, by sweeping, breaking boxes down and keeping a tidy office space.
  6. Fax all offload reports upon completion to EPC management
  7. Return all originals offloads, timecards and Camera Chips once a month to EPC either via Canada Post or Direct Drop off
  8. Make sure there are empty pallets available for the offloads of the port, supply notifications must be done in a timely manner for replenishment purposes.  Supplies include not only pallets but also office supplies.
  9. Loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
  10. Routine use of a forklift and attachments, hand truck, or other equipment to load,   unload, transport and store goods.
  11. Inspect and verify incoming goods for damage and create damaged goods report
  12. Picking orders according to picking lists provided by the officers
    Re-Packing orders in boxes, on skids, and into crates to ensure products do not get damaged
    Wrapping and loading of pallets
    Completing Off load documentation
  13. Process payments
    off load orders, including checking quantity and quality of incoming shipments, removing and presenting goods, and moving/storing goods in correct locations
    Photographing damaged goods
  14. Calling customers/dispatchers
    Assisting in keeping the warehouse clean
  15. Perform routine maintenance
    Lifting product (up to 50 lbs.) for prolonged periods of time
     
  16. Know safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials.
  17. Know proper shipping procedures for transportation of dangerous goods.

 

 

Job Qualification


 
  1. Education:  Minimum of a high school diploma.
  2. Forklift Certified
  3. Experience:  Minimum two years successful job experience.
  4. Employment History: Acceptable reference checks.
  5. 2 years of Forklift experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
  6. Experience working in a warehouse (or equivalent experience)
  7. Ability to use small hand tools
  8. Must be able to work Independently
