Over the past 15 years, the Niagara Community Foundation has sought to improve the local region’s quality of life by strategically applying community charitable assets, pooling donations into an endowment, and advising and encouraging leaders from various sectors to leverage their resources through collaboration. Although the above funds went towards environmental initiatives, the foundation supports an array of other causes such as health, arts, and culture through the Community Grants Program, Mini Grants Program, and others.
