We believe that student success is built on a solid foundation of educational practice and an infrastructure of extra curricular activities that compliments the whole educational experience. By focussing on the relationship between the academic, social, emotional and physical needs of students. With this in mind, at Steele Street we offer a variety of activities, team experiences, services and opportunities meet the needs of the whole child.

If you are planning to move before the beginning of the 2013-2014 School Year or you know of individuals who are moving to our area please contact our secretary, Mrs. Pahowski at 905 - 834 - 4333, she can provide information on school boundaries for your new place of residence. This may be important information for us to have in order to guarantee the smooth transition of each child to Steele Street or their new school. It allows us or the receiving school to include each child on a class list, transfer school documents and consult with each other so that every child has a wonderful first day of school for 2013 - 2014.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Do you have a child who will be 4 or 5 years of age by December 31, 2013?
 If so, please come to the school to register them for Kindergarten as soon as possible. We are presently organizing our classes for 2013 - 2014. In order to prepare for the parent information night coming up in June and our summer mailing we would like to include your child’s name in our list. Please call (905-834-4333)or visit Mrs. Pahowski in the school office to obtain the forms you require for registration. Ensuring that your child’s registration is completed at this time will allow us to organize and prepare a smooth beginning to school life for your child.
